SEtech are currently working on a wide range of projects including the design of suction can foundations for a deep water oil and gas developement off West Africa, trenching assessments for pipelines and cables in the North Sea, Mediterranean and South China Sea and preliminary foundation design for a proposed UK offshore wind farm

We currently have vacancies for geotechnical engineers in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and working with our parent company Gardline, in Great Yarmouth.

Principal Geotechnical Engineer (Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear)

A Principal Geotechnical Engineer with consultancy and design experience is required to join our team in the centre of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Preference will be given to candidates with a civil engineering and / or a second degree in geotechnics. In addition to academic achievements, applicants should be able to demonstrate initiative and leadership qualities.

The successful candidate will be part of the senior management team and be responsible for project management and the supervision and development of junior staff.

Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Great Yarmouth, Norfolk)

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced engineer to help develop the geotechnical team in Great Yarmouth. Working closely with our parent company, Gardline, the successful candidate will be responsible for integrating geophysical and geotechnical marine survey data and producing interpretative reports under the guidance of the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne office. As with all our current vacancies, there is likely to be opportunities to travel overseas and to work offshore for short periods. with the staff, skills and activities at SEtech.
