Telecom Cables - Research & Development

In recent years, we have been at the forefront of research for the cable industry. Research has been required to identify new techniques and improve existing systems including burial methods, equipment development, burial assessment correlations and protection methods.

SEtech has developed new risk assessment techniques for assessing cable burial and protection. In addition to new cables, these are increasingly being used to assess the level of protection of existing cable systems for potential purchasers or insurers.

Much of SEtechs work has been presented at industry conferences. A number of the technical papers are available for download below.

They require Acrobat Reader™ to be viewed. Double click to view, right click to download and save.
